Development of mitigation strategies for sensitive or threatened species and protected habitat. Client representation before Environmental Agencies, Planning Boards, or City Councils to obtain project approvals.
Site Selection & Due Diligence
Assisting clients with development of property search criteria. Translating the client's commercial property needs into local, regional, or national search strategies, including due diligence on use restrictions, title defects, environmental conditions, and infrastructure requirements. Providing client links to tax incentive experts.
Water & Mineral Rights
Helping clients realize the best value for water rights through creative management, leasing, and sales strategies. Developing disposition strategies for surplus mineral rights designed to maximize the return to the client.
Environmental Liability Management
Our transaction structures and land development strategies are designed to minimize residual liability to our clients. Contractual Indemnity/Release provisions, land use restrictions, and financial assurance tools are employed to the fullest extent to minimize post-close exposure to environmental liability
